DOH-Santa Rosa Celebrates Opening of the Little Free Pantry

September 23, 2024

Milton, Fla. The Florida Department of Health in Santa Rosa County (DOH-Santa Rosa) is celebrating the opening of the Little Free Pantry Box to provide Santa Rosa County residents in need access to non-perishable food items at no cost.

The Little Free Pantry Box is located at:

DOH-Santa Rosa
5527 Stewart St.
Milton, FL 32570

In 2022, DOH-Santa Rosa and the University of West Florida (UWF) Haas Center conducted a Food Access and Affordability Survey. The survey showed that almost one in five adults in Santa Rosa County reported experiencing food insecurity. The Little Free Pantry Box aims to provide residents in need with non-perishable food items. Additional food site locations in Escambia and Santa Rosa County can be located by following the link.

Residents who would like to donate to the food pantry box can bring unopened, non-perishable and shelf stable items to DOH-Santa Rosa’s front desk in the lobby.
