COVID-19 Vaccinations

Vaccination Locations 

COVID-19 vaccinations are available at DOH Santa Rosa by appointment. Please call 850-983-5200, option 2 to schedule your appointment.

Vaccination Guidelines 

  • Appointments are required - call 850-983-5200 (option 2) to schedule your appointment
  • Adults must have a photo ID to receive the vaccination
  • DOH Santa Rosa offers the Moderna vaccination for adults (over age 18)
  • DOH Santa Rosa offers the  Pfizer vaccination to minor children age 5 to 17
  • Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian

Vaccination Services for Homebound Residents 

If you are a resident of Santa Rosa County, bedbound and physically unable to visit the Santa Rosa County Health Department, a qualified healthcare professional can administer the vaccination in the comfort of your own home. Call 850-983-5200, option 2 for more information.

COVID-19 Testing 

Testing is currently not available at DOH Santa Rosa offices.

Covid-19 Symptoms 

Reported COVID-19 illnesses have ranged from mild symptoms to severe illness and death for confirmed cases. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure. COVID-19 symptoms commonly include:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Loss of taste and/or smell
  • Fatigue

Many people infected by COVID-19 have mild illness and can recover at home. Adults 65 and older and those with underlying medical conditions like heart disease, diabetes and lung disease are more likely to develop serious illness.
